HOMEWORK #6

Using graphite pencils, draw one or two objects addressing light and volume. Keep your pencil sharp and shade with the side of the graphite. Try to light your subject with a strong, single light source. Strive for smooth, even gradations. This is best achieved by layering the tonalities gradually building up to a darker tone rather than immediately starting out dark. (subjects may be: small toy, cup and saucer or spoon, condiment bottles, etc).
